Mignonne is an associate attorney in OAK Law’s corporate and commercial law department. Mignonne has gained extensive experience in this field of law.

• Risk assessment, reviewing and advising on corporate commercial transactions and contracts;

• Mergers and acquisitions;
• Researching and preparing opinions on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters;
• Offering advice to clients on tax-related matters;
• Notarial services such as drafting antenuptial contracts and notarial bonds;
• Offering advice to clients on estate planning matters; and
• Various matters relating to trusts and estates.

Qualifications
Mignonne obtained her BCom Law degree (majoring in accounting and tax) and LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree (cum laude) from the University of Pretoria in 2019 and 2021, respectively. She thereafter completed Law School at the Law Society in 2022. Mignonne is currently studying towards an LLM in Tax Law at the University of Witwatersrand.
Experience
After completing her practical vocational training at a well-known medium-sized law firm in the East of Pretoria. Mignonne was admitted as an attorney, notary and conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa in February 2024. Since her admission as an attorney, Mignonne has gained a vast array of experience in the corporate and commercial sphere as an associate at OAK Law.
Interests
Mignonne is an experienced and passional horse rider and competes in national pre-advanced level dressage. She unwinds by reading a good book, spending time exploring nature and spending quality time with family.
